Today we announced the launch of the Viggle Platform, the ability for us to register people outside the Viggle application and earn points for engaging in entertainment content on the web. Our intent has always been to reward entertainment consumption of all types no matter where it occurred, whether on linear TV, on a website, on the radio or streaming music.

We took a huge step forward this week with the introduction of point earning at We now allow fans to earn Viggle Points at Wetpaint for watching video content about TV and celebrity entertainment news.

This is a significant step forward in our evolution for our partners who rely on Viggle to get their marketing message in front of the right entertainment fan at the right time, on the right device. Going forward, any content creator can utilize our platform to reward their users with Viggle Points to help drive tune in and engagement.

This move follows on the heels of the initial launch of The Viggle Store last month, the first place where Viggle members can ‘burn’ points outside of the Viggle app. Currently, members can use their points for song and album downloads.
